Job Vacancies

Factory Manager (Station in PRC)

Responsibilities

Oversee overall management of our Foshan Metal Products factory.
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
Manage and supervise production staff; monitor performance and provide guidance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.
Identify and resolve production issues; implement continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency and quality.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Ensure smooth factory operations through effective employee and industrial relations management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the metal manufacturing or metal products industry.
Strong work ethic and a professional attitude.
Proven ability to make strategic decisions and drive business growth.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with the latest construction technology and trends is highly recommended.
Experience with production planning, inventory management, and ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Chinese and Mandarin; English is a plus.
Stationed in Foshan, Guangdong.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of quantity surveying experience, preferably in structural steelwork, metalwork, or aluminum construction projects.
Experience in NEC 4 contracts is preferred.
Solid understanding of sustainable construction practices and cost management techniques.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing budgets and timelines.
Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., cost estimating, project management).
Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, HKIS) is an advantage.
Effective communication skills in Chinese and Mandarin; English proficiency is a plus.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Quantity Surveyor position.

Responsibilities:

Prepare tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities with consideration of sustainable construction practices.
Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for structural steelwork, steel & metal work, and aluminum construction projects.
Support compliance with NEC contractual requirements and company policies.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to ensure project viability and alignment with sustainability goals.
Participate in procurement activities, including sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
Monitor project progress, track variations, and help ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
Collaborate with project teams and report cost-related matters to senior management.
Provide guidance and support to quantity surveyors based in the Foshan, Guangdong office as needed.
